What information do we collect?

We collect your first name, last name, address, email address, password, phone number, IP address, connection data and navigation data, order history, purchase downloads, payment methods, preferences and interests, viewed products, favourites products incidents of deliveries and refund details.

When filling in forms on this site, mandatory fields will be marked with an asterix.

We also measure general behaviour of our visitors. For example the number of pages viewed, the number of visits to the website, as well as the activity of visitors to the website and their frequency of return.

Contact form submissions are kept indefinitely for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes unless it is to sign up to a newsletter.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

When placing your order order, the payment will be managed by the International Payment Management Company “Stripe”. Your data may be shared with them during purchasing. If you order using PayPal your data may be shared with PayPal.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment or review, the comment or review and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile (if any). All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. If you require us to fulling delete you account please contact us at info@squirrelhoard.com.

You information stored in our digital and archival administration will be kept for a minimum of 10 years as this administration is needed for Squirrel Hoard’s tax declaration.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
