Item Prices

The price shown on the item listing is the accurate price at the time that you view the page. Item prices can change at any time for multiple reasons including fluctuation in stock, availability of materials or changes in tax regulations. We cannot guarantee that your checkout price will be the same as when you added items to your cart. Adding items to your cart in no way guarantees the price of the item. If the change in price of your order seems unusual feel free to contact us.

Discounted Sales Prices

Items can be on sale for a multitude of reasons, ranging from the item being of second grade quality to it being part of a promotional sale. If the sale price is due to the item having some form of damage, being previously used or of second grade quality, this will be made known in the listing’s description.

Discounted items may show an indicated end time and date for the reduced sale price. The reduced price can be terminated prematurely at any time without any explanation or obligation to customers.

Sales Tax

No form of sales Tax, local or international, is currently included in the prices of the items or postage of Squirrel Hoard.

This is due to the Dutch tax arrangement for small businesses, namely the KOR (Kleine Ondernemer’s Regeling – The Small Business Venture Arrangement). At this stage we are not obligated to collect local sales tax (BTW).

We are currently not collecting any Sales Tax for EU countries as we do not fall into the category which obligates us to do so within EU VAT Rules.

Neither do we collect any sales Tax for any countries outside of the EU.


We will always do our best to show an accurate stock amount for the items in our shop. Although due to human error sometimes the stock amount may be incorrect. If you order an item which is no longer in stock, you will be informed as soon as this issue becomes apparent and we can negotiate a suitable solution to the problem.

Adding an item to your cart does not reserve the item for you. Please be aware of this when adding items to your cart over time.

Discount Coupons

Sometimes discount coupons are available for the shop. Depending on the current promotion, these may be listed on the Squirrel Hoard website, on our social media pages or sent to your directly (either via email or physically in your order). Coupons on our website and on our social media pages are generally public coupons and can generally be used by everyone.

Coupons sent to you directly, either via mail or post, are meant for your personal use only unless stated otherwise. Unauthorised use of the coupon code by others may cause their order to be cancelled.

Unless stated otherwise, it is not possible to use multiple coupons on the same order.

Depending on the coupon it may be possible to use it once or multiple times.


The payment of your order is possible with these payment methods:

The payment is handled by the International Payment System of Stripe.


The prices for shipping vary depending on the country your order ships to, the weight of your order, the bulk size of your order.

The final price for shipping will be determined at checkout. That price is final and will always override the prices listed in our Information Page. We will always do our best to keep our Shipping Information page up to date and correct but this cannot be guaranteed at all times.


We will always do our best to package your order in a manner to avoid any form of damage in transit. Unfortunately, due to the method of handling by the postal services being out of our hands, a package can still be damaged during transit. If an order arrives that you presume to be damaged before opening it (due to the packaging being compromised) please take photos of the packaging and it keep it for further reference.

Sometimes the packaging we use to ship your order has been previously used. This is more environmentally friendly than throwing it away. Packaging is only reused when it is in a suitable state to do so. We kindly request you reuse any packing when possible.

Customs Duties and Taxes

All custom duties and different Taxes that are charged to you on your package are your own responsibility. They are in no way eligible to be billed to Squirrel Hoard.

Refunds and Returns Policy

Refund Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts for 14 days after you have received your order. If these 14 days have passed since you have received your order, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. By law, sale items are also eligible for refund so long as they are not a product exempted for refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If we receive your return and there are signs of use, that the item is damaged or missing parts, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your method of payment or bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company or other method of payment, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Please contact us if your item is defective or damaged to start the process of exchanging it.

If you wish to make an exchange for a different item, please return your item within 14 days of receiving it for a refund. You can then place a new order for the other item you wish to purchase.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Refund Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. When receiving a refund, the cost of the return shipping will not be refunded.

The price you paid for initial shipping will be refunded if you are returning your complete order. If you are only returning a partial order, the initial shipping you paid will not be refunded. If on inspection, your order is found ineligible for refund, you will not receive a refund for your initial shipping costs either.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. If your return is lost in the post and no Tracking has been provided, your order cannot be refunded. If you have used a trackable shipping service and your package is lost, please contact your shipping service help centre. We are only able to refund orders when we have received the return and it has been examined. Returning your goods with or without tracking is your own choice and your own risk.

We do our best to get our product photos as accurate as possible. Although there are multiple reasons why they may not appear accurately to you. This can be due to:

We do not guarantee that our products possess any supernatural, magical, magickal, healing or spiritual properties. Although some items may appear to have these properties they are in no way guaranteed. Themed names that are given to products are purely to add to aesthetics.
